This quiz contains all the flags of the European countries along with a map of their location and their names. Use this to enable your class/tutor group to master the name of every flag in Europe. Presentation could be a quiz - 2 points if students know country with map, if they need a map nil points. This foldable can be used for students for students to write a review of a book (in and from any subject). Pages can be added easily if needed to extend the writing. The year disadvantaged list can be used to track the disadvantaged/ vulnerable students within the whole year group and monitor any interventions. Use SIMS to gather student information add in how your students are disadvantaged and add the number of groups up. Add the barriers to learning the student may have Add in details from any IEP and who is responsible for it What strategies are used to overcome difficulties Then add report data - is the student on track? how subjects are they off track in? are they making expected progress in Eng/Maths Also included is the "disadvantaged profile" that individual teachers can use to track disadvantaged students in their own classes

Hand out a graph per student as they enter the room (I keep anonymous unless they want to write their name on the back) Inform them what challenge is - a little out of their comfort zone get students to plot the points of their learning journey throughout the lesson This is a great way to reflect on your teaching - was their enough challenge. The results may surprise you.
